This modified MFJ "bugcatcher" was a counter-poised, base-loaded 15 meter quarter-wave whip
mounted on a 1.25 meter mast and 5 meters above ground. The 10 through 80 meter bands were fully tunable, and even a little action on 160 with a nicely radiating coax feeder.
